These terms cover the site and its form. They are not the terms of a paid engagement — that would be a separate written agreement.
What the site does
You read it, and you can submit the form. That is all. There is no account to create, nothing to pay, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell you anything.
When you submit the form
You are asking us to get in touch. You are not buying anything, and we are not promising to reply — though we intend to. By submitting, you confirm that:
- the email address is yours, or one you are allowed to use;
- what you write is yours to share — do not paste anyone else’s confidential information, personal data, or anything covered by an NDA into the question box;
- you are not submitting anything unlawful, abusive, or deliberately misleading.
Keep it to your own problem. It goes into a CRM and a person reads it.
What we do with your question
We use it to decide what to research, which interviews to run, and how to write you something useful. We may describe the kinds of problems people bring us, and quote a question anonymously while doing so — never with your name, company, or email attached. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will not.
What you get back
Anything we send you — findings, notes, analysis — is for you and your team to use. Do not republish it as your own work or resell it. Interview material sometimes carries its own confidentiality terms; when it does, we will tell you at the time.
No advice, no guarantee
Everything on this site, and everything we send you, is information rather than professional advice. It is not legal, financial, or investment advice. What happens to your pipeline depends on your market, your team, and your execution, and nothing here is a promise about your results.
The site is provided as it is. We change it, occasionally break it, and can take it down without notice. We do not warrant that it is accurate, available, or fit for any particular purpose.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or anything you read on it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited — including fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Do not automate against it
No scraping, no bulk or automated submissions, and no attempts to overload, probe, or break the site or the endpoint the form posts to. We block anything that abuses it.
Our material
The text, design, and code of this site, and the Cadrian name and mark, are ours. Reading the page does not license any of it.
Privacy
What the form collects, where it goes, and how to have it deleted is set out in thePrivacy Policy. Submitting the form means you have had the chance to read it.
Stopping
You can stop using the site whenever you like, and ask us to delete your data — the Privacy Policy explains how. We can stop replying, or block access, at any time; in practice we only do that when someone abuses the site.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of San Francisco County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Changes
We update these terms as the site changes, and the date at the top moves when we do. Carrying on using the site means the current version applies.
